Online booking with a digitally signed consent form, WhatsApp confirmations and payment up front.
Context
BeautyDermato-cosmetic procedures require, by the nature of the treatment, the client's written consent before the session — usually signed on paper, in the room. The bookings, though, arrived by phone and on social media, with no central record of the slots already taken, so double bookings were possible, and the signed papers piled up in a folder nothing could be searched in. The booking and the consent had to happen before the session, digitally, in the same step.
Architecture
The consent form enters the same flow as the booking, before the session.
The document the procedure requires already exists by the time the client walks into the room, instead of being signed in a hurry at the door.
The signed document is generated as a PDF, tied to the booking.
A folder of papers cannot be searched. A PDF tied to a booking is found by client and by date.
On the procedures that require a deposit, the payment gates the confirmation.
The slot that is held is the slot that is paid for, so the calendar does not fill up with bookings that never turn up.
What I built
Online booking
The client picks the service and the time straight from the site; the “My bookings” page lets her find and manage the appointment without a conventional account.
Consent signed digitally
Before the procedures that require written agreement, the client signs the consent form inside the same flow, and the document is generated as a PDF.
Confirmation on WhatsApp
The booking has a dedicated WhatsApp contact button, visible on every page of the site.
Deposit with Netopia
Some procedures require a deposit paid online through Netopia before the booking is confirmed.
